ADA education
ADA Education programs are designed to encourage members to advance their dressage skills by providing an award-winning, educational newsletter, the Centerline, and by offering various clinics and mini-lectures throughout the year. In addition, the organization hosts five (5) USEF/USDF Recognized Dressage Shows and a variety of Schooling Shows throughout the Winter in the Phoenix/Metro area and throughout the summer in the Prescott/Flagstaff area with the Northern Arizona Chapter's Pronghorn Series Schooling Shows. Judge evaluations received at these shows are a vital part of advancing one's dressage education. Show details can be accessed from the Shows page.
2012 ADA Dressage Clinic is being planned for Fall 2012. Check back periodically for details.
In the spirit of encouraging Members to advance their education, the ADA also sponsors the following Educational programs:
- Scholarship program - The ADA Sponsors up to five $500 scholarships awards annually to promote the educational advancement of local dressage riders. Application Deadline is February 1st each year and requires active Volunteer service to the organization.
- Travel Grant program - The ADA strives to support Members and their equine partners who achieve the highest level of National recognition by offering competitors competing in National Championships (NAJYRC, Developing Horse, etc.) an opportunity to receive Travel Grants for attending these championship competitions. ADA Membership is required and volunteer service hours are encouraged. Please contact any Board member for details.
